ApplyOnline - the quick and easy way to register a business
Now there is a fast and convenient way to register a new business in South Australia. The Department of Justice has introduced a business portal that is interactive and automated, ensuring that you save paper, time and money. Further facilities will be added via the portal over coming months. Click here to visit ApplyOnline(new window).


Renew your business name
Business name renewals lodged via this online facility will be processed and a certificate issued within ten (10) working days of receipt by the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs. Renew today.


Pay business name invoice
Pay now if you have received a Business Names, Associations or Co-operatives Invoice from us.


Apply for a BDM certificate
Use this facility to apply for a South Australian birth, death, marriage or Commemorative certificate. Please note: Pre-adoption and Change of Name certificates and our priority service are not available online - contact our office for more information.


Licensing public register
Check if a person or company is licensed in South Australia. Find a licensed person in your local area. Search now.


Assurance register
The Assurance Register lists the traders who have given an assurance, or formal guarantee, to refrain from engaging in specified unlawful conduct. Before engaging a tradesperson you should check both the Licencing Register and the Assurance Register for any relevant information about that trader.
