Interstate certificates

If the registered event occurred in another state or territory then you must apply to the Registry Office in that state or territory for a certificate.



Alternatively, you can complete the South Australian application form and mail it to the relevant state. Please note that fees, access policy and proof of identity policies vary for every state; you will need to contact the relevant state for those details.

Do NOT send the form to the South Australian Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Office.
