OCBA's mission is to regulate the trading environment in which consumers buy to ensure they are confident that they will be treated fairly when buying goods or services.Aim
In South Australia people will be:- informed about their consumer rights and duties
- protected against unfair trading practices
- treated fairly.
Values
The values at the centre of our work are:- fairness, honesty, integrity, accountability and professionalism
- commitment to excellence
- cooperation and respect
- recognition and reward for the contributions of all staff.
OCBA will focus its work priorities across four main areas to ensure the mission, aim and values described above can be fully expressed. These four areas are consumer protection, policy, people and service delivery.
