OCBA's mission is to regulate the trading environment in which consumers buy to ensure they are confident that they will be treated fairly when buying goods or services.

OCBA will focus its work priorities across four main areas to ensure the mission, aim and values described above can be fully expressed. These four areas are consumer protection, policy, people and service delivery.
